International crook Wolf Frees and his partner, Percy Herbert, steal the "Green Buddah," a priceless eastern-art object, while it is on a display-exhibition in London. Frees double-crosses Herbert and forces Wayne Morris, the owner of a small charter-plane company to fly him to Glasgow.
Yankee charter pilot Morris inadvertently finds himself in the midst of thieves who have purloined a costly antique jade figure from an exhibit. He tracks the thieves to Battersea, where he rescues the fair Germaine from their unsavory clutches, and the Buddha boosters gain only jaded justice.
At a London gallery, robbers steal the Green Buddha, a small, priceless statue believed to be eighteen hundred years old. One of the thieves is caught while trying to escape, but the others, Knobby, Casey O'Rourke and Tony Scott, elude the police.
