Ulan (transl. Rain) is a 2019 Filipino romantic drama film written and directed by Irene Villamor, starring Carlo Aquino and Nadine Lustre. And in a way, it closes a circle and fully connects the grandma's pearls of wisdom with the happenings in Maya's life. Yet, it takes some time to get the flow, to really build up.
