Former gunslinger Banner Cole sets out after the gang with a posse of seven, including city-born bank clerk Seymour Kern, who has volunteered to join the hunters. After finding and rescuing Helen, they track down and kill one of the outlaws. The posse dwindles as the hunt continues until only Banner, Helen, and Seymour remain.
