Movie director Jo Moon-Kyeong (Kim Sang-Kyung), who recently decided to immigrate to Canada, takes a trip down to the small sea-side town of Tongyeong, South Korea. There he meets acquaintance Bang Jong-Sik ( Yu Jun-Sang ) who is a movie critic.
Feb 2, 2010 · Filmmaker CHO Moon-kyung plans to leave Seoul to live in Canada. So days before his departure, he meets his close friend BANG Jung-shik who is a film critic, at a nearby mountain to drink ‘makgeolli’, a Korean traditional alcoholic beverage made from rice.
Over drinks, two friends agree to swap fond memories of their recent trips to the same seaside town. As the stories unfold in flashback, it becomes evident their accounts take place at the same time and with the same people.
