  1. Dipankar Datta (born 9 February 1965) is a judge of the Supreme Court of India. He is the former chief justice of the Bombay High Court and a judge of the Calcutta High Court.

  2. He was elevated as a permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on 22nd June, 2006 and was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court on 28th April, 2020. After more than two and half years at the helm of the Bombay High Court, he assumed charge as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 12th December 2022.
