Dec 30, 2017 · Voice actor and Seattle radio host Jim French has died at age 89. He passed away late last week. French was one of the last full-time “radio theater” actors, syndicating his radio show Imagination Theater on over 100 AM/FM radio stations in the United States as well as SiriusXM.

After a move to KVI AM570 he began writing and producing weekly radio plays. In 1980 when he returned to KIRO his weekly productions aired under the title KIRO Mystery Theatre.
