John Bosley is a fictional character from the Charlie's Angels franchise. He was originally introduced in the 1976–1981 television series, portrayed by David Doyle. [1] Along with Kelly Garrett, Bosley is the only character to take part in every episode of the show's five-year run.
John Bosley, aka Bosley 001, was a private investigator that worked with Charlie at least five years before the beginning of 1976. He expanded the Townsend Agency into international branches prior to his retirement in 2019.
Doyle is best remembered for his role as detective John Bosley on the television series Charlie's Angels, one of only two actors (the other being original angel Jaclyn Smith) to appear in all 110 episodes of the series (1976–1981).
