The Istanbul University State Conservatory (Turkish: İstanbul Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuarı) is a music, theatre, dance university in Istanbul. It is the oldest conservatory and the oldest continually operating music school in Turkey. It offers music training from secondary school to doctorate.

Conservatorium-Konservatoryum is an open access, peer-reviewed, scholarly journal published biannually in June and December by Istanbul University, State Conservatory. The manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal must be scientific and original work in Turkish or English.
Founded in 1453, the Istanbul University gained its current name and status in 1924. The Conservatory was established in 1914 and was the first in Turkey. It was later expanded to include departments of theatre and ballet as well as music and opera, gaining its current name in 1986.
The dominant educational orientation of the institution’s conservatory was based on “European art music” (i.e., Western music). The institution was named as the Istanbul Conservatory between 1923 and 1926, the Istanbul Municipal Conservatory as of 1944, and the State Conservatory of Istanbul University as of 1986.
