Raju Sundaram, also known as Rajendra Sundaram, is a choreographer, director and actor who has worked in South India film industry. He started his career as an assistant choreographer to his father Mugur Sundar. He is famous for his choreography for Tamil and Telugu films, where he has majorly collaborated with ace directors Mani Ratnam, and Shankar. His 2017 project includes the Telugu drama film Kaadhali.

Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad are his brothers. Deva first appeared as a boy playing a flute in the song "Panivizhum Iravu", from the Tamil film Mouna Ragam (1986). He later appeared as a background dancer for a song in the 1988 Tamil film Agni Natchathiram. Deva's first venture as a choreographer was the Kamal Haasan starrer Vetri Vizha (1989).
Early life. Sundar was born in Muguru, a village located in Mysore district, Karnataka. He has three sons, Prabhu Deva, Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad, who are established dance masters and have also worked in Kollywood films. All the three are distinct actors also and Prabhudeva is currently a successful Director as well.
