The United States Naval Academy (USNA, Navy, or Annapolis) is a federal service academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It was established on 10 October 1845 during the tenure of George Bancroft as Secretary of the Navy.

May 23, 2024 · You are eligible to apply for the United States Naval Academy if you meet the following criteria: A United States Citizen by 1 July of the year of entry. At least 17 years of age and must not have passed 23rd birthday on 1 July of the year of entry. Unmarried. Not pregnant and no dependents.
