Mansfield College, Oxford is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. The college was founded in Birmingham in 1838 as a college for Nonconformist students. It moved to Oxford in 1886 and was renamed Mansfield College after George Mansfield and his sister Elizabeth.
Mansfield College offers an informal, stimulating environment in which tutors and students work together to achieve academic excellence and sustain a supportive as well as lively community. In any one year there are around 195 graduates in the Middle Common Room (MCR).

Mansfield College | Access Guide. One of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. The main entrance is on Mansfield Road. There is also an alternative entrance on Mansfield Road. Both of these entrances are level. There is also accommodation in the Ablethorpe Building.
We think we offer a wonderful College experience for our community to learn and grow together – with 24-hour libraries and accommodation for all years of undergraduate study. Plus 13 clubs and societies, two College cats, and vegetarian and vegan food twice voted the best in Oxford.
