David Charles Esquer (born April 13, 1965) is an American college baseball coach. He is the head coach of the Stanford Cardinal baseball team. He previously served as head coach of the California Golden Bears baseball team from 2000–2017.
David Esquer '87 was named Stanford's Clarke and Elizabeth Nelson Director of Baseball on June 16, 2017, becoming the 21st head coach in program history. Esquer succeeded Mark Marquess, who retired after 41 years at the helm of the program.
