Robert Hunter (27 November 1792 – 7 September 1848) was a Scottish merchant and unofficial diplomat in Siam during the reign of King Rama III. Biography. Owner of Whitfield estate in 1817, from which the enslaved people were sold by 1820 by Francis Graham as attorney to Robert Hunter.
