Nolan Kay Bushnell (born February 5, 1943) is an American businessman and electrical engineer. He established Atari, Inc. and the Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre chain.
Nolan Bushnell, inventor of Pong and founder of Atari, is rightly considered the father of electronic gaming. Growing up in Utah in the 1940s, Bushnell had a childhood typical of a budding inventor. His early inspirations included a third grade science project on electricity.
