Danny Way (born April 15, 1974) is an American professional skateboarder and business person. He has been awarded Thrasher magazine's "Skater of the Year" award twice. He is known for extreme stunts, such as jumping into a skateboard ramp from a helicopter; that was featured on the cover of Transworld Skateboarding magazine.

Oct 16, 2023 · Who is Danny Way? Born on April 15, 1974, in Portland, Oregon, Danny Way’s early life was marked by adversity. Growing up in a tough neighborhood, skateboarding became his refuge from the challenges of his surroundings. By the age of 9, Danny’s exceptional skateboarding talent was already recognized within his local community.
In 2002, the skateboard set a new world record for the longest distance jump at 65 feet (20 meters) and broke his biggest air mark by taking it to 18 feet, 3 inches (5.66 meters). One year later, the stunt skater surpassed his own previous record for the biggest air with an incredible mark of 23.5 feet (7.2 meters).
