The Right Excellent Sir Garfield St Aubrun Sobers, NH, AO, OCC (born 28 July 1936), also known as Sir Gary or Sir Garry Sobers, is a former Barbadian cricketer who played for the West Indies between 1954 and 1974.
Garry Sobers was a legendary all-rounder who played for West Indies, Barbados, Nottinghamshire and South Australia. He scored 8032 runs and took 7999 wickets in 93 Tests, and also hit six sixes in an over against England.
