Graeme Craig Smith (born 1 February 1981) is a South African cricket commentator and former cricketer who played for South Africa in all formats. In 2003, he was appointed captain of the national team, taking over from Shaun Pollock. He held the position of test captain until his retirement in 2014. [2]
Graeme Smith is a former South African opening batter and captain who played 117 Tests, 197 ODIs and 33 T20Is. He scored 9265 runs in Tests, 6989 runs in ODIs and 982 runs in T20Is, and led South Africa to their first Test series win in Australia in 2008-09.
