Valery Borzov (born October 20, 1949, Sambir, Ukraine, U.S.S.R.) is a Soviet athlete who won five Olympic medals, including two gold medals. A master of all aspects of running, with a strong, smooth style, Borzov was the greatest Soviet sprinter.
