Rodney Hicks (born March 28, 1974) is an American actor, playwright, and screenwriter. He is perhaps best known for originating the role of Bob in the Broadway musical Come from Away (2017) as well as playing various roles in the original and closing Broadway cast of the musical Rent.
Rod is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne and Monash University. He was previously the Director of Cancer Imaging at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and is an internationally-recognised pioneer in oncological PET imaging and therapeutic nuclear medicine with more than 30-years’ experience in both.
The current Editor-in-Chiefs of Cancer Imaging, Prof. Rodney Hicks and Prof. Annick Van den Abbeele, will conclude their terms of office in September 2024 and the Trustees of the International Cancer Imaging Society would like to recruit a successor for handover at that time.
