THEATRO DOMATIOU was founded in 1993 by Antzela Brouskou [actress-director] and Parthenopi Bouzouri [actress] in Athens, Greece.
Celebrated for her edgy style and bold aesthetics, director Angela Brouskou has brought to the stage several major works of the theatre canon. As an actress, she has worked with numerous Greek directors. In 1993, she co-founded the Theatro Domatiou group together with actress Parthenopi Bouzouri.
Antzela Brouskou investigates the actor’s method and technique with a focus on ancient tragedy, as a teacher, actor and director (October – November, 2022). The aim of the seminar was to reveal the primordial memory hidden in the body of the actor – performer by using ancient drama as a vehicle.
