Dame Miranda Catherine Millais Harcourt DNZM (born 1962) is a New Zealand actress and acting coach. [1] Harcourt's acting career began playing boy characters on Radio New Zealand in the early 1970s. She is best known for her role as Gemma in the 1980s TV drama series Gloss.
My approach is based on years of writing and performing Verbatim theater in prisons in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, as well as my work as an on-set acting coach with renowned actors and directors on films all over the world.
Miranda has coached Oscar, Golden Globe, Emmy, International Emmy and BAFTA-award nominated and winning performances. In 2017 Miranda co-directed NZ YA classic The Changeover with Stuart McKenzie. The film was released in the UK, the US and NZ.
