Sir Geoffrey Robert Clifton-Brown FRICS MP (born 23 March 1953) [1] is a British Conservative politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Cotswolds, formerly Cirencester and Tewkesbury, since 1992.
Jul 5, 2024 · Conservative Geoffrey Clifton-Brown has become the first MP for the new North Cotswolds constituency. Sir Geoffrey won the constituency with 17,426 votes in the 2024 UK general election, while Liberal Democrat Paul Hodgkinson came second with 14,069 votes.
Brown began his professional career when he joined the Ailey company in 1999 and served as choreographic assistant to Judith Jamison. He has also danced with Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, and was a founding member and rehearsal director for Jessica Lang Dance.
