David Ankrum (born May 2, 1947) was the voice actor for Wedge Antilles in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He overdubbed both Denis Lawson and Colin Higgins throughout the former film.

David Wheeler Ankrum was born on May 2, 1947, in Santa Clara County, California, the son of actor Morris Ankrum and actress Joan Wheeler. He is an actor, writer, producer and manager. Ankrum was active in television and film in the 1970s -1980s.
He is a supporting character portrayed by Denis Lawson in the original Star Wars trilogy, and voiced by David Ankrum in Episode IV – A New Hope (1977) and Rogue One (2016). He is also featured in the Star Wars expanded universe, most notably as the lead character in most of the X-Wing novels.
