Saïd Taghmaoui (Arabic: سعيد التغماوي; born 19 July 1973) is a French actor. One of his major screen roles was that of Saïd in the 1995 French film La Haine , directed by Mathieu Kassovitz .
Saïd Taghmaoui naît le 19 juillet 1973 à Villepinte de parents Amazigh venus d'Essaouira [7], et grandit à Aulnay-sous-Bois, dans la Cité des 3000. Il a trois frères et cinq sœurs [ 6 ] . Il quitte l'école très tôt avec la volonté au départ de suivre une carrière dans la boxe anglaise , un sport qu'il pratique dès son adolescence [ 4 ] et dans lequel il devient vice-champion de France en 1990 [ 8 ] .
