    Is Pat quick a good book?

    • Quick's characters are entertaining, especially the therapist, a joyous creation who steals every scene he's in. Pat's mother and father and their relationship to Pat and to each other add interesting drama and tension. Additionally, although Quick's writing is too simplistic to be impressive, it's comedic—never side-splittingly so, but amusing.
