David Berenbaum is a Philadelphia-born writer and actor who wrote the 2003 comedy classic Elf, starring Will Ferrell. He also wrote The Haunted Mansion, The Spiderwick Chronicles, and Zoom, and is working on Frosty the Snowman and Elf: Buddy's Musical Christmas.
