Robert John Moreland (born 21 August 1941) is a British management consultant and Conservative Party politician. After a single term as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP), he served on the Economic and Social Committee of the European Union for twelve years and was elected to two local authorities.
Rob Moreland works in the Office of the Chief Engineer at NASA Headquarters. He earned his B.S. in Engineering Science from Iowa State University in 1991, engineered propulsion systems at the Johnson Space Center for ten years, earned an MBA at the University of Virginia, and returned to NASA in 2003.
Robert Moreland (born November 10, 1938) is an American former basketball coach. He served as the head coach of the Texas Southern Tigers from 1975 to 2001, and 2007 to 2008. Moreland has the most wins as a coach in Tigers history with 406 victories.
Originally from south Louisiana, Robert Moreland ventured west to Los Angeles about a decade ago and now spends his days in his studio on the eastside. His work is part of the Frederick R. Weisman Collection in Los Angeles, The Koo House Museum in Seoul as well as a large sculptural installation at the ‘Adamwon Sculpture Park in South Korea.
