Greg Silverman was born in Pretoria, South Africa on August 18, 1972. He was raised in San Diego, California, where he attended La Jolla Country Day School and the San Diego Jewish Academy.
Silverman attended Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
