M. Saravanan (producer) Saravanan Surya Mani or M. Saravanan, also known as AVM Saravanan or Meiyappa Saravanan, is an Indian producer of Tamil films. His production company is AVM Productions, which was founded in 1945 by his father, the famed director-producer A. V. Meiyappan, who is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Tamil cinema.
Saravanan began his career as an assistant director under director A. R. Murugadoss. In 2009, he made his directorial debut with the Telugu film Ganesh starring Ram . [2] [3] In 2011, he directed his first Tamil film Engeyum Eppodhum which featured Jai , Anjali , Ananya and Sharvanand , and was produced by his mentor A. R. Murugadoss in association with Fox Star Studios . [4]

Saravanan started out working for director A. R. Murugadoss as an assistant director. He made his directing debut in 2009 with the Ram-starring Telugu film Ganesh. His mentor A. R.
