Thierry Frémaux ( French: [tjɛ.ʁi fʁe.mo]; born 29 May 1960 in Tullins) is the director of the Institut Lumière, of the Lumière Film Festival and of the Cannes Film Festival.

He has been the artistic director and then managing director of the Institut Lumière in Lyon since 1995. He became the artistic director of the Cannes Film Festival in 2004 and general delegate in 2007.
