Oren Moverman (Hebrew: אורן מוברמן; born July 4, 1966) is an Israeli American, Academy Award-nominated screenwriter, film director, and Emmy Award-winning film producer. He has directed the films The Messenger , Rampart , Time Out of Mind , and The Dinner .

Oren Moverman is an Israeli-American film director, screenwriter, producer, well-known in Hollywood. Starting his career as a screenwriter in the 1999 film Jesus' Son. He then moved on to write the screenplay for Face (2002), I'm Not There (2007), Married Life (2007) before diving into direction with The Messenger (2009), which he also wrote.
