Oct 3, 2022 · Veteran public health leader Anuradha Gupta, who spearheaded a host of successful global initiatives to improve the health of women and children and boost vaccine access and uptake, has joined Sabin Vaccine Institute as President of Global Immunization.
Ms Gupta is currently responsible for managing the world’s largest public health program, with an annual budget equivalent to US$ 3.5 billion in her role as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Government of India.
Anuradha Gupta is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. Since joining Gavi in 2015 Anuradha has been leading efforts to better integrate support to countries within Gavi’s strategy.
