Director, Writer. Biography. Born in 1955 in Iran, Abolhassan Davoodi studied cinema in School of Cinema & Television and Sociology in Beheshti university. He wrote film criticism and reviews in Soroosh & Film magazines for 5 years before professionally starting his filmmaking career.
Abolhassan Davoudi started his artistic career with inking the screenplay for Rasoul Sadr Ameli’s ‘Payizan’ in 1986. He has also written articles on cinema and previously served as the chair of Board of Directors for the House of Cinema.
