Lee Myung-se (Korean: 이명세; born August 20, 1957) is a South Korean filmmaker. Lee began his career as an assistant producer under Bae Chang-ho for the films Hwang Jin-I (1986), Our Sweet Days of Youth (1988), and Dream (1990).
LEE Myung-se is considered far and away the best stylist of the Korean cinema world. Lee set his foot in the door by working on the directing team of [LEE Jang-ho], and worked as an assistant director on movies by [KIM Soo-yong], [BAE Chang-ho], and other directors.
LEE Myung-Se is acclaimed as a stylist representative of Korea who has established a unique world of his own.
