Taylor Garrett is a character in Barry. He was portrayed by Dale Pavinski.

Taylor is a former marine who befriended Chris Lucado and Vaughn after leaving the military. He later works with Barry Berkman and Monroe Fuches as a hitman.

    Befriending Chris

At some point following the end of his military career, Taylor met Chris Lucado at a Veterans event.

    Hitman Career and Death

After Chris Lucado and Barry Berkman reconnected, Taylor "befriended" Barry. After seeing the type of money Barry was making, he asked to join whatever job he was doing. Taylor was recruited by Barry for Monroe Fuches in the hopes that he could become Fuches' new hitman. Barry and Taylor are assigned a hit on a Bolivian stash house with the secret mission of also killing Taylor due to his irresponsible behavior. They start the raid at the stash house, killing many Bolivians. At one point, Barry is knocked out and when he wakes up, it's shown that Taylor killed everyone and saved his life. Taylor then starts taking some of the money from the Bolivians, while Barry prepares to shoot him while his back is turned. The next morning, Barry meets with Fuches at a restaurant, who is happy to see that he survived the raid. Fuches starts calming him when he thinks he killed Taylor, just as Taylor joins them. Soon after, Taylor is used to help scout an airstrip that the Bolivians are planning to use to bring mob leader Cristobal Sifuentes into the country. Later, Taylor is at his home with Barry, who is trying to convince Taylor to become Fuches' sole hitman but Taylor declines due to how large of a cut Fuches gets. Taylor tells Barry to kill Fuches and also tries to give Barry part of the money Taylor recovered from the stash house. When Barry refuses to take the money as it is related to money laundering, Taylor waits till he goes to the bathroom to put it in his bag and takes out Gene's book. Disturbingly, Taylor casually watches hardcore pornography through this conversation with Barry. The next day, Taylor, fully dressed in his military uniform, drives up to Barry and tells him to get in. Barry is shocked to see Taylor has brought in Chris Lucado and Vaughn to help them in the airstrip attack, having felt inspired by Gene's acting book. Taylor ignores Barry's warnings to follow the safer route and drives straight toward the Bolivians, who are already in the scene, while quoting Gene’s book. As they approach, their car is gunned down, with the bullets hitting Taylor and Vaughn and the car starting to spiral out of control. Taylor is killed by the bullets and subsequent crash.
