Raymond K. Johnson (1901–1999) was an American cinematographer and film director. He directed more than twenty films, mainly low budget westerns, for Poverty Row studios such as Monogram Pictures. After service in World War II Johnson joined camera unit at MGM's Hollywood studio, which he eventually came to head the department.
Raymond K. Johnson was born on 24 November 1901 in Leeds Township, North Dakota, USA. He was a director and writer, known for The Reckless Way (1936), All Faces West (1929) and Special Agent K-7 (1936).

Suicide Squad is a 1935 American action film directed by Raymond K. Johnson and starring Norman Foster, Joyce Compton and Robert Homans. It was made as a second feature by the independent outfit Puritan Pictures. The film's sets were designed by the art director Vin Taylor.
Raymond Kingsbury Johnson was born November 24, 1901 in Leeds Township, Benson County, North Dakota to Andrew L. and Myrtle Alice Kingsbury Johnson. His movie career began in the 1920s, and one of his early jobs was the filmed-in-Alaska THE CHECHAHCOS (Alaska Moving Pictures/Associated Exhibitors, 1924).
