Erik Poppe (born 24 June 1960) is a Norwegian film director, producer and screenwriter. Poppe is regarded as one of Scandinavia's most experienced and compelling film directors recognized for his work with actors and multi-pronged narratives.
Erik Poppe is a renowned Scandinavian filmmaker who has made movies such as Troubled Water, 1000 Times Good Night and The King's Choice. He is also a former conflict photographer and a researcher on subjective point of view in narrative film.
