May 22, 2023 · Telugu music composer Raj, of the popular music director duo Raj and Koti, passed away in Hyderabad on Sunday. Raj, or Thotakura Somaraju, died of cardiac-related issues, sources said. He was 68. He was the son of stalwart music director T V Raju.

The musician is believed to have had a bad fall in the bathroom earlier this afternoon and suffered a heart attack immediately out of shock. He had collapsed in the bathroom and didn’t recover later.
