May 7, 2010 · It took me a while, but I am finally able to share this interview I did with the multi-talented Jaffe Zinn a couple of months ago. Jaffe is half of musical duo Folded Light, a very accomplished illustrator and filmmaker. He is currently finishing his first feature film: Magic Valley.

Jaffe Zinn’s first outing as a director is a delicate, moody anti-mystery that takes conventions of the “murdered teen” story and spins them on their head. Thanks to quiet language and contemplative direction, this ranks as one of the best independent films I saw in 2011.
