My research centres on social studies of energy and climate change. With funding from UK Research and Innovation, our research group studies comparative European heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency governance, and developments in integrated local and regional energy systems.
Jan Webb’s research changed radically following her contribution to the Royal Society of Edinburgh 2012 Inquiry Facing Up To Climate Change, with insights into causes of climate crisis, major risks to all life and necessity to end reliance on fossil fuel energy.
