In effort to preserve the musical legacy of Marc’s guitar teacher and mentor, the Father of Haitian classical guitar, Frantz Casseus, Marc recorded a collection of Casseus' solo guitar compositions for his 1993 album "Marc Ribot Plays Solo Guitar Works of Frantz Casseus".
