Priyadarshan (born 30 January 1957) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who predominantly works in Malayalam and Hindi cinema. - Hera Pheri. This one was a remake of the 1989 Malayali film Ramji Rao Speaking and starred Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Tabu and Suneil Shetty. The film has acquired the status of a cult classic and given us characters like Babu Bhaiya, Shyam Tripathi and Raju, who are meme icons to this day.

- Hungama. The film’s plot justifies the title of the film pretty well. If you’ve seen the film, you know what I’m talking about. Amidst the ruckus of people pretending to be others and falling for the wrong person, you get a pretty enjoyable two-hour watch with this film.
- Chup Chup Ke. Inspired by the Malayali film Punjabi House, Chup Chup Ke has Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Suneil Shetty, Neha Dhupia, Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal as some of the main characters.
