Aug 29, 2017 · Three Sides Live was Genesis third official live album after 1973's Genesis Live and 1977's Seconds Out. While Seconds Out was recorded at what must be considered a peak of the band's career, Three Sides Live was (partly) recorded on the tour for the weak Abacab album.

drakkar Jun 28 2021. Always an excellent live band, Genesis nonetheless turned out a bit of a dud with 1981's Three Sides Live. Some good songs, but this definitely sounds like a band that, outside of one bone thrown to longtime fans, has completely forgotten its first decade-and-change of history.
