Manfred Durniok (2 May 1934 – 7 March 2003) was a German film producer, director and screenwriter. He produced 27 films between 1961 and 2003. Manfred Durniok’s third film, “Memories of a Tragic Past” received a Bronze Lion from the Biennale in Venice. He turned down an offer from Sender Freies Berlin and produced instead, as a freelancer, a short film and documentary for the station.
