Nov 4, 2015 · Two: as a team, they are better. And the Drowned Book is a fantastic opening episode for a variety of reasons. Let's start with the fact that we get the overall story arc for Season Two: the machinations of Prospero and the efforts to stop him. It's good that while we will get a series of adventures, we will see them connect to one overall story.
As luck would have it, both fictionals introduced are decidedly villainous. Screw Destiny: Prospero has found a way to rebel against the story he was brought from, reclaiming his drowned book and set on recovering his staff next. Sherlock Scan: Flynn and "Professor Worth" each deduce the identity of the other one in this way.
