A respected pioneer of Italian film music, Enzo Masetti was born in Bologna in 1893. Although several references give his birthday as 18 August, his birth certificate states 19 August 1893, and he was the son of Giulio Masetti and Emma Roversi. Enzo graduated from Bologna Conservatory in 1920.
