How it Works? Jeevan Pramaan scheme seeks to ease the verification of pensioners so that they do not need to run from one office to another in order to get their pensions. The idea is to make the whole process trouble-free for retired government employees. It uses the Aadhaar platform for biometric authentication of the pensioner.

Jeevan Pramaan i.e DLC is generated for individual pensioner using his/her Aadhaar number and Biometrics. How is this different from traditional Life Certificate issued by Govt Officers/ Agencies?
