Veerabhadrappa Kumbar, popularly known by the pen name KumVee, is an Indian novelist, poet, story writer and critic in the Kannada-language. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2007 for his work Aramane.

ಕುಂ. ವೀರಭದ್ರಪ್ಪನವರಿಗೆ ಕೆಂದ್ರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ವರ್ಧಮಾನ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಲಂಕೇಶ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ ನೀಡಿದರೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು ನೃಪತುಂಗ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದೆ.
