Gada retired in 2014 at the age of 52. His son is the film and TV producer Dhaval Gada and was announced as his successor at PEN on 3 November 2014. However, Jayantilal Gada resumed office from 1 April 2016. Gada launched a new Television Channel named WOW (Channel).
Dhaval Gada's role model is his dad Jayantilal and who was the motivation for him to start his very own production house. Dhaval Jayantilal Gada assumed control over PEN India Ltd on November 3, 2014, turning into the youngest filmmaker in the Bollywood film industry.
