Reem El-Adl, Sami’s niece, said on Facebook that a funeral will be held on Friday following noon prayers at Al-Rashdan mosque in Cairo’s Nasr City.

Jul 10, 2015 · After a recent illness complication, prolific actor and producer Samy El Adl has died today, at the age of 68. El Adl had recently been suffering from a fatigued heart, and had received medical care in two hospitals with a short period of improvement in between, before finally collapsing from heart failure today.
Sami El Adl was an Egyptian actor and producer, born in the city of Mansoura in 1946. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, and began working as an actor since the early seventies through the movie Word of Honor (1972).
